Vendors needed for new Town Market on James Island starting July 8

The new Town Market on James Island will be starting up on July 8 at 9 am and will take place every Saturday thereafter at 871 Fort Johnson Road on the grounds of the James Island Youth Soccer Club. The current Nano Farmer’s Market will move from its current location and will become part of the Town Market.

They are seeking vendors of all sorts and types. Alexandra Purro says, “I have all the applications and information. They can either call and let me know that they will need an application package, and I can have them available and ready for pickup at the Farm Stand, (1444 Folly Rd, James Island, across from Pet Helpers) or if they send me an email address I can email them all the information. There is a $10 application fee and an introductory rate of $20 for a daily fee. We do offer a discount of $75 if they sign up for at least four markets. Currently we do have a bluegrass band booked for our opening on July 8th! We are also looking for more musicians who may want to play other weeks.”

  1. If you look for a building sign that says 871 Fort Johnson Road, you might just miss this. Pretty sure you have to turn off Ft. Johnson onto Englewood Trail to get to this event. Hopefully there will be good signs up on Ft. Johnson Road, as this is a busy area these days. Maybe some balloons.
