Every dog’s favorite happy hour event is back this fall! Yappy Hour at the James Island County Park dog park returns with cooler weather on Thursday, Sept. 14.
On select Thursdays each spring and fall, dogs and the owners who love them are invited to the dog park to relax with a cold drink during Yappy Hour. This social event features live music and beverages for purchase at the park’s off-leash dog park.
The 2017 series kicked off in April. On the next installment on Sept. 14, live music will be provided by Dallas Baker from 4 p.m. until sunset. The final Yappy Hour of the year will feature Soul Fish Duo from 4 p.m. to sunset on Thursday, Oct. 12.
Admission to the event is included with admission to James Island County Park, which is $2 per person or free for Gold Pass members. Beverages, including beer and Coke products, will be available for purchase. All outside food, alcohol and coolers are prohibited
